This past Tuesday we were very excited to welcome aboard four new Fellows! However, what makes it even more exciting is that these four will be stationed in a separate location, so BitWise Fellows will officially be located in two locations! We are now at both 11460 N. Meridian St. Carmel IN, 46032 AND at New Tech High @ Arsenal Tech Lone Hall, Room 254 1500 E. Michigan St., Indianapolis, IN 46201. Hired thus far is President Russtin Trotter, Project Manager Marcus Anderson, Developer Eric Coleman, and Designer Safia Hatcher. We had a great first meeting and really enjoyed each other’s company, so this will no doubt form many lasting friendships! Pictures will be posted on Twitter and Facebook! Our Twitter link is www.twitter.com/BitWiseFellows, and to find our Facebook group, simply type "BitWise Fellows" into your Facebook search engine and we'll be at the top of the list!

Hi all! So it's been a while since the last blog post, sorry about that! Today we've got some exciting news to share with you about four new projects we've signed on. Right before Christmas break, we were contacted by J.R. Sauder, owner of Two Fish Mgmt., LLC. He runs an investment management industry and works to help people keep track of the money they've invested. He does not have a current site, so the Fellows are happy to design and build one to help him market Two Fish and spread the word about his business. Next is Lisette Drummond, whose daughters started Ruby Law and Finances 101. Ruby Law counsels individuals and businesses on estate and succession planning and administration as well as business issues. Ruby Law does have an existing site, and the address is www.ruby-law.com so you can head over for a "before" look. Finances 101 is a business that would be very interesting to young professionals because they help them focus and plan for their financial future. They offer seminars, which you can check out on their existing site at www.finances101.us. Last but not least, we are excited to begin working on Santiago Jaramillo's project called Weston Rock Camp. He recently moved from Florida to Indiana, and is looking to change his Web site to match his location change. His business helps kids ages 6-14 discover the joy of music and playing in a band with his day summer camp. He combines music lessons with fun, and from a look at his Facebook album, it looks like the kids have fun! You can check out this album by clicking on the link on his existing home page at www.westonrockcamp.com.
The Fellows are very excited to begin working with all these new clients and are looking forward to the new designs we will create and the new lessons we will learn.

It's the end of another school year at BitWise Fellows, which means
that old Fellows are leaving and new Fellows are coming in. Four
Fellows have graduated, so four new Fellows have been
hired! President Josh Cunningham, a graduated senior, is sadly leaving
the Fellows and will be going to college at Purdue University with a
major in economics. Josh will be replaced by A.J. Gorsage, a junior at
Guerin High School. Michael Ratliff,
project manager, will be going to Ivy Tech College in the fall but will
be replaced by Josh Moes, a senior at Covenant Christian High School.
Both the Fellows developers, Alex Hearn and Sahil Yahkmi, have
graduated and are heading to Indiana University and Columbia
University, respectively. They will be replaced by new hires Stephen
Weaver, a homeschooled junior, and Michael Wintermeyer, a senior at
Park Tudor.
It will be sad day at the Fellows when we lose Josh, Michael, Alex, and
Sahil, but we are looking forward to another era with a new set of high
school students. Exciting new things are happening at the Fellows! Have a safe and fun fourth of July everybody!

We recently launched a new project for Grace Presbyterian Church
(Grace PCA) - they are a small church looking for a clean and simple
Web site. They have a current site; however, a refreshed Web location
to better capture the church's message and ministries is desired.
The new site will be a useful tool for members as well as a wonderful
outreach system for the church. Grace has been very helpful and active
in the process thus far making it a very enjoyable project. The site
is currently in the design phase and we are nearing completion of the
first draft. The goal is to have the project completed in the next few
months so continue to check for updates!

I wanted to post a quick update about the project we
launched. The client, Historic
Ambassador House, actually put the site files live and we have just received
the live link.

Earlier this week the Fellows team completed a site for The
Historic Ambassador House!
The Ambassador House and Gardens, Inc is an organization dedicated
to the preservation and restoration of the Ambassador House and Gardens in the
Fishers area. The goal of the Ambassador House project was to create an
educational center and museum that serves as a way for visitors to learn about
the history of Fishers. The objective of this project was to create a
clean and attractive site that showcases the Ambassador House and informs
readers about the restoration work on the house. The organization was
prevously without a Web presence so the site will be an important part of their
marketing efforts.

Early this week we finished a site for a career counseling business, Successful Transitions: www.stransitions.com. The business specializes in providing career counseling services to high school and college students through personal meetings to assess their strengths and interests. Successful Transitions was previously without a Web presence so the goal of this project was to create a simple and informative site which serves as a contact point for prospective clients. This is one of the several Fellows projects nearing completion so there will be more new sites to come!

The month of March has been busy for the Fellows team. Not only are there quite a few open projects, there are multiple new prospect opportunities as well. The most significant development has been the hiring of the next president successor, A.J. Gorsage, a sophomore at Guerin Catholic High School. A.J. brings a strong work ethic, determination, and excellent people skills into his new role. We feel these qualities will allow him to be an effective leader of the Fellows over the next few years. I am personally excited to mentor A.J. over the next few months before I head off to college. The goal is to gradually give A.J. increasing responsibility up until the time he assumes the complete responsibilities of the role in August. The experience A.J. will gain from his job at Fellows will help prepare him for his future career, which he currently hopes will be in the business field.
Now the focus turns to recruiting several students to handle Web development for the upcoming school year. The hope is to have those students hired within the next few weeks.
